Since 2005, Presco employees have been picking up their pay checks one day early in exchange for a specified donated item for a local charity. Our Human Resource Department coordinates with these local charities to determine which items employees may donate. Today, Presco employees have assisted over 50 local charities in reaching out to the deserving communities of Texoma. The monetary value of those gifts has exceeded $25,000 to date. Some of the chosen charities include: Pregnancy Care Center of Grayson County, Denison Food Pantry, ARCOT, Juvenile Alternatives, CASA of Grayson County, Girls Inc., First Baptist Church Food Pantry, Sherman Home Hospice, Children’s Advocacy Center of Grayson County, Grayson County Homeless Shelter, Boys and Girls Club of Denison, Helping Hands, Grayson County Red Cross, Grayson County Crisis Center, Camp Sweeney, SHARE Ministries, ARF House, Sherman Animal Shelter, Grayson County Animal Shelter, Toys for Tots, Grayson County Women’s Crisis Center, Child Guidance Center, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army And many more……. Serving the communities in which we live is and always will be a priority for Presco and we provide our employees many opportunities to give back. Presco helps sponsor events such as Walk for the Cure, Special Olympics, United Way, Relay for Life and the 3-Day Walk benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Employees give their time and resources to the Grayson County Animal Shelter Pet Run, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon and the Christmas Angel program at B. McDaniel Junior High in Denison, TX. In addition, our employees participate each year in helping outfit needy children with school supplies so that they may have a great start their school year.
